Frequently Asked Questions
-
What medium are your original paintings and paper artworks?
My paintings are created using oil paints. For my paper artworks I use a combination of charcoal, pencil, print making and found images. Further details are listed alongside each piece.
-
Are your paintings and paper artworks framed?
My paintings are sold unframed; many people prefer this as it means they can be shipped without costing you more. My paper artworks are also unframed but do require framing under glass for protection with a matt board. Selling them unframed allows you to work with your framer to choose the right frame for your situation and taste.

Can I see the artwork I am interested in before purchasing?
Of course. If you live or are travelling through Johannesburg, I would be happy to show you the work in person. Please contact me to let me know if you are interested in doing this and we can arrange a mutually convenient time.
-
Can I purchase your work with a payment plan?
Yes, that can be arranged. For any work over R10 000 you can pay in instalments. Please contact me and we can work out an arrangement that suits you. As soon as the final payment is made, your artwork will be shipped to you.
-
My favourite artwork has sold – how can I be sure to know about new work?
Pieces may sell quickly. Make sure you join my mailing list to find out about new work before it is added to my website. You can also follow my studio progress on Instagram to see work coming up.
-
How will my painting be wrapped?
It depends on size, but paintings and paper artworks will be carefully packed using corner protection, bubble wrap and cardboard. Each one is unique so I take care that it is well protected to arrive in its original condition. For further details about delivery please see Purchasing & Shipping policy.

Do you do special commissions?
Currently I’m not taking on any new commissions, as I’m working on a new body of work. If you like my style then one of those may be the one for you!
